The Victron Orion XS 1400 DC‑DC Battery Charger is a rugged, high-performance charger designed for dual-battery and mixed-voltage systems. It delivers up to 1,400 W of charging power, making it ideal for converting and regulating voltage between 12 V and 24 V systems, whether you're charging from a smart alternator in a vehicle or balancing battery banks in mobile or off-grid applications.
This unit offers fully configurable input and output currents, adjustable between 1 A and 50 A, giving system designers the flexibility to tailor settings for different battery chemistries such as LiFePO₄, AGM, Gel or flooded lead-acid. Its adaptive four-stage charging algorithm optimises absorption and float phases to protect battery health and extend lifespan.
Connectivity options are excellent. The charger features Bluetooth Smart, allowing configuration and monitoring via the VictronConnect app. In addition, it supports VE.Direct and VE.Smart Networking, enabling integration with other Victron devices for coordinated voltage and temperature compensation, and it supports DVCC for system‑wide charge control when paired with a GX device.
The design is compact and robust. With a durable IP65-rated aluminium housing, the charger is dust-tight and water-resistant, allowing installation in harsh or cramped environments.
