Galvanic Isolation for Ultimate Protection
Safety and equipment longevity are at the core of the Orion-Tr. Featuring 200VDC galvanic isolation between the input, output, and case, this converter prevents voltage spikes, noise, and ground loops from traveling through your system. Your expensive 24V navigation equipment, communications gear, and appliances remain fully protected.
Adjustable Voltage & High Efficiency
The Orion-Tr accepts a wide input range of 32V to 70V and outputs a default 24.2V. Using the built-in potentiometer, you can easily adjust the output voltage between 18V and 30V to perfectly match the specifications of your equipment. With an outstanding 89% efficiency rating, it minimizes power loss and waste heat. (Please note: This converter is designed for stable power supply applications and is not intended for battery charging. For charging applications, please consider the Orion-Tr Smart charger.)
Smart Control & Scalable Power
Installing the converter is simple and highly efficient. The integrated Remote On/Off terminal eliminates the need for a bulky, expensive high-current switch in your primary wiring. Instead, you can operate it using a simple low-power switch or tie it directly to your engine's run/stop switch. Plus, because the unit is completely short-circuit proof, you can connect an unlimited number of units in parallel to easily scale up your system's current output as your power needs grow.
