The Victron MultiPlus Compact 12/800/35-16 230 V VE.Bus is a compact, all-in-one inverter-charger designed for trade and professional applications such as mobile, marine or off-grid systems. Built to integrate seamlessly into 12 V battery setups, it delivers 800 VA continuous output power, converting your 12 V DC battery bank into reliable 230 V AC power for standard appliances. According to the manufacturer the unit is constructed from aluminium and has a rated operating temperature range of -40 °C to +65 °C, under fan-assisted cooling.
One of its standout features is the high-speed electronic transfer switch that provides uninterrupted AC supply: in the event of a grid or shore power failure the unit switches to battery-based inverter power in under 20 milliseconds, ensuring that connected loads such as computers, electronics and sensitive equipment keep operating.
The MultiPlus Compact also includes advanced system-integration features: true sine wave inverter output for high compatibility, adaptive multi-stage charging for optimum battery health, and the PowerAssist/PowerControl technology which helps prevent generator or shore-supply overload by intelligently managing battery and AC loads.
