Product Details
The LYN040102110 is a high-performance 1000A shunt designed to be the central hub of your DC distribution system. As an integral part of the Victron Lynx ecosystem, it integrates a positive busbar with a fuse holder and a negative busbar containing the battery monitor electronics. This specific M10 model is particularly versatile because it includes a fuse dummy busbar. This allows you to replace the internal fuse if you prefer to mount your main protection elsewhere in a larger or more complex setup.
Communication is handled through the VE.Can port, which connects directly to a GX device such as a Cerbo GX. This connection allows you to view detailed history and real-time data on voltage, current, energy usage and consumed Amp-hours. If a fault occurs, such as a blown fuse, the unit sends an instant alarm to your monitoring screen and lights up a red status LED on the front cover.
The unit also features a programmable relay. This can be used to automatically start a generator or trigger an external alarm based on your battery voltage or state of charge. Inside the rugged ABS enclosure, the tinned copper busbars are rated for 1000A continuous current. Whether you are running a 12V, 24V or 48V system, this shunt is capable of managing the heavy loads required for professional marine and off-grid installations. For the most accurate readings possible, it even comes with a dedicated temperature sensor to monitor the physical condition of your battery bank.
