The Victron Lithium LiFePO₄ 51.2 V 100 Ah NG Battery is a high-performance energy storage solution for off-grid, solar, and professional installations. It provides a nominal voltage of 51.2 V and energy capacity of 5,120 Wh, making it suitable for 48 V systems that require long life and reliable performance.
This battery uses LiFePO₄ (LFP) cell chemistry, known for thermal stability, safety, and consistent operation. It includes an integrated shunt for real-time monitoring of voltage, current, and temperature. This data is managed through the Lynx Smart BMS NG, which communicates with VictronConnect or GX devices and the VRM portal. Firmware updates are automatically handled via the BMS.
The battery supports 100 A continuous discharge and charge and up to 200 A pulse current for short periods. Its cycle life is excellent, reaching 5,000 cycles at 50% depth of discharge and approximately 2,500 cycles at 80% DoD, ensuring long-term reliability.
Built for demanding conditions, the battery has an IP65 rating, making it dust-tight and water-resistant. It weighs 37 kg and measures 235 × 648 × 162 mm. It can be mounted upright or on its side, using supplied brackets or straps, but not with the terminals facing down.
Operating temperature ranges are –20 °C to +50 °C for discharge and +5 °C to +50 °C for charge. Storage temperatures can range from –45 °C to +70 °C. The battery has low self-discharge of ≤ 3 % per month and a round-trip efficiency of about 92 %, keeping energy losses low.
It meets international standards for safety and performance, including IEC 62619, and supports modular configurations with up to 25 batteries per bank, allowing scalable energy storage for larger solar or industrial systems.
