Victron GlobalLink 520 Remote Monitoring Device

The Victron GlobalLink 520 (SKU ASS030543020) is a compact and powerful remote-monitoring gateway that connects your VE.Direct devices to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal via LTE‑M cellular. It provides continuous remote visibility into battery state, power flows, alarms, and energy metrics, ideal for off‑grid, mobile, and remote power systems.

It features two isolated VE.Direct ports, allowing hard-wired connection to two Victron devices such as a shunt or MPPT controller. There are two digital inputs (also usable as pulse counters) and a relay (NO/NC) for remote control or switching via VRM.

Built-in 4G LTE‑M connectivity uses an included SIM pre-loaded with 5 years of data, so there is no contract or monthly fee for that period. It supports 17 LTE‑M bands worldwide to maximise coverage options.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is also supported. You can wirelessly connect up to 10 Victron Smart devices or RuuviTag sensors, enabling remote monitoring of temperature, humidity, or pressure.

The GlobalLink 520 runs on a wide DC input range (8 V to 70 V), making it suitable for most battery systems. It is wall mountable and comes with an internal LTE antenna plus an SMA connector for optional external antenna to improve signal strength.

With a small footprint (123 × 67 × 23 mm) and low power consumption, it is easy to integrate into trade-level installations. The factory SIM and hardware are covered by a 5-year warranty, giving long-term reliability for remote monitoring applications.
