The Victron Ekrano GX is a professional system controller designed for trade customers who need reliable oversight of complex power installations. It features an integrated 7 inch touchscreen housed in a durable aluminium case, giving you clear, real time visibility of your energy system in demanding environments. When installed with the supplied steel bracket, the front of the unit is rated IP54, offering protection against dust and moisture. This makes it suitable for marine, off grid, vehicle and hybrid applications.
The controller operates from 8 to 70 volts DC and performs reliably within a temperature range of minus 20 degrees Celsius to plus 50 degrees Celsius. It includes two relays with NO and NC contacts that support up to 3 amps DC or 1 amp AC. These can be used for generator auto start, shore power control, battery system management or other automation tasks required in advanced energy setups.
Connectivity is a key strength of the Ekrano GX. It offers three VE.Direct ports, one VE.Bus port with dual RJ45 sockets, and two VE.Can ports, one isolated and one non isolated. Additional connections include Ethernet, Wi Fi at 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth Smart, two USB A ports and a microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB for data logging or long term system records.
For environmental and system monitoring, the unit supports three resistive tank level inputs, two temperature sensor inputs and two digital inputs. The 1024 by 600 resolution display includes an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment, and a rear mounted button allows touch input to be disabled when required.
Installation is flexible. The controller can be flush mounted or installed using a blind hole arrangement, both supported with the included mounting hardware. The integrated buzzer provides system alerts when needed, and the unit meets recognised safety and EMC standards. Local control is available through the touchscreen and VictronConnect, while full remote access is provided through Victron Remote Management (VRM).
