Victron Busbars 150A - 4 High Current Connections & Cover

The Victron Busbar 150 A 4‑Pole with protective cover provides a clean, reliable DC distribution point for high-current systems. It's designed to handle up to 150 A per pole at 70 V DC, making it ideal for solar‑battery installations, marine power systems or off-grid setups where multiple high-current connections are required.

Internally, each of its four poles is built from tinned copper busbar strips (1.4 × 18 mm), ensuring excellent conductivity and low resistance. The terminal posts are made from stainless steel, and each post uses tin-plated copper hex nuts to maintain strong, corrosion-resistant connections.

The base material is black ABS (UL 94 V‑0 rated) which gives the unit both mechanical strength and flame-retardant properties. Over the terminals, a clear polycarbonate safety cover (UL 94 HB) protects connections and provides visual inspection without removing the cover.

In terms of size, the unit measures approximately 45 mm (height) × 152.4 mm (width) × 31.8 mm (depth) when the cover is fitted, and the posts protrude by around 17 mm. Despite its capacity, the busbar weighs only about 0.2 kg, making it compact and easy to mount.

Connections are made via four large 1/4″ (6.35 mm) terminals, which are robust enough for thick DC cabling, and these terminate on the stainless steel posts. The recommended terminal torque is 7 N·m, ensuring secure and safe connections.

The transparent, removable cover adds a layer of protection against accidental contact or short-circuits, while allowing visual inspection.
