The Victron BlueSmart IP65 Charger (SKU BPC241331034) is a rugged, weather-resistant 24 V charger built for demanding environments. It offers a charging current of 13 A, making it suitable for medium to large 24 V battery banks in mobile, marine, or off-grid systems. The IP65-rated housing protects against dust, water spray, and chemical exposure, so it performs reliably in tough outdoor locations.
A smart seven-stage adaptive charging algorithm ensures optimal charging for a variety of battery types, including lead-acid (flooded, AGM, gel) and lithium (LiFePO₄). The charger adjusts its output based on battery condition, helping to prolong battery life. It also includes a recovery mode designed to revive deeply discharged batteries, feeding them a low current until they stabilise.
Efficiency is high, with a peak efficiency of around 95%, which minimises wasted energy and reduces heat. In standby mode, the charger draws only about 0.5 W, making it energy-efficient even when left connected.
Bluetooth Smart connectivity allows trade installers to monitor battery voltage, current, and charging status using the VictronConnect app. They can also update firmware, change charging profiles, and review history to optimise system performance.
The unit withstands a broad temperature range, operating reliably in extreme cold (down to –30 °C) up to +60 °C, with automatic temperature compensation. Both M8 eyelet and clamp connectors are provided for flexible battery connection options.
With a robust aluminium construction, dimensions of 75 × 140 × 240 mm, and a weight of around 1.9 kg, this charger is built to last. Victron backs it with a 5-year warranty, giving specifiers and installers assurance of long-term reliability.
