Product Details
The Pytes Pi LV1 Battery Control Unit is the core management component for the Pi LV1 stackable low voltage energy storage system. This unit is specifically engineered to coordinate with individual 5.12kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) modules, allowing for a highly customisable energy solution that can range from a single stack of 5.12kWh up to a substantial 30.72kWh. By connecting multiple stacks together, you can even reach a total system capacity of 245.76kWh for much larger properties.
Technically, the unit houses a sophisticated Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors the health and performance of every cell in the stack. This ensures that charging and discharging are always balanced, which significantly extends the life of your batteries. The Pi LV1 is capable of delivering a powerful continuous output of 14.08kW and a surge output of 25.6kW when six modules are used, making it more than capable of handling high demand household appliances like electric ovens or washing machines.
Installation is remarkably straightforward for trade professionals. The unit uses installer friendly quick connectors which eliminate the need for traditional hand-wiring, significantly reducing the risk of errors and saving time on site. The robust IP55 rated enclosure ensures the internal electronics are protected from the elements, while the integrated DC breaker and fuse provide essential physical protection for the entire circuit. Whether you are looking to save money on your electricity bills by storing solar energy or simply want the security of a backup power supply, this control unit provides the reliable, smart foundation your home needs.
