The Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/5000 (SKU PIN245020000) is a high-capacity, pure-sine wave inverter optimised for off-grid, backup and hybrid power systems. Operating from a 24 V DC supply, it delivers up to 5,000 VA (4,000 W) continuous output at 25 °C, making it suitable for demanding applications like pumps, motors, power tools and high-draw appliances. At higher ambient temperatures, it still provides a strong 3,700 W at 40 °C, and 3,000 W at 65 °C.
Built with Victron's SinusMax hybrid technology, this inverter delivers exceptional surge capacity—peaking at 10,000 W for starting large inductive loads. A built-in VE.Bus communication port enables system integrators to configure settings, monitor performance, and scale units by operating them in parallel (up to 6 units) or in 3-phase configurations.
With a rugged aluminium housing in Victron’s signature blue, the unit is durable yet compact (444 × 328 × 240 mm) and weighs approximately 30 kg. It features M8 bolt battery connections (2 positive, 2 negative) for secure and reliable DC linkages.
The input voltage range is 19–33 V DC, allowing stable performance across typical 24 V battery banks and accommodating voltage fluctuations. For system safety and flexibility, the inverter offers protection against output short-circuits, overload, high or low battery voltage, over-temperature and excessive DC ripple. It also has a programmable relay for custom control and alarm logic.
The device can run in parallel or 3-phase setups, making it ideal for scalable systems where demand may grow or where redundancy is required. It's also built for professional installation, with screw terminals for AC output and efficient cooling via thermally controlled fan.
This model is IP21 rated, designed for dry, protected environments.
