The Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/1600 230 V Smart is a compact yet powerful pure-sine inverter designed for reliable off-grid or mobile power systems. Running from a 24 V DC supply, it delivers 1,600 VA continuous output (1,300 W at 25 °C) and can handle peaks of up to 3,000 W, making it suitable for high-start-up appliances and tools.
With an input voltage range of 18.6–34 V, this inverter adapts to variable battery voltages without compromising stability. A toroidal transformer ensures a clean, stable sine wave output suitable for sensitive electronics. The built-in Bluetooth and VE.Direct communication allow configuration and monitoring of settings such as voltage thresholds, ECO mode, and alarms using the VictronConnect app or a GX device.
The inverter provides dynamic low voltage cut-off to protect the battery by adjusting the shut-down level based on the load. It also includes a programmable relay for custom automation like alarms or generator start/stop functions and a remote on/off terminal for integration with external switches or ignition circuits.
Built to endure demanding environments, the unit operates in temperatures from –40 °C to +65 °C, with fan-assisted cooling. The rugged steel housing is finished in Victron’s signature blue and black and carries an IP21 protection rating. For installation, the unit uses M8 bolts for battery connections and screw terminals for the 230 V output.
