The Victron MultiPlus 48/3000/35-50 230V VE.Bus is a robust, combined inverter and charger, engineered for demanding off-grid, hybrid and self-consumption systems. Running from a 48 V battery bank, it delivers a continuous 3 000 VA (2 400 W) of clean, pure sine wave power, while its 35 A adaptive four-stage charger keeps your batteries healthy and fully topped up.
One of its standout features is PowerAssist, which safeguards limited AC sources like generators or shore power. When demand peaks, the unit can draw from the battery to supplement supply and when usage drops, it redirects surplus power to recharge. In the event of a power outage, its fast-acting UPS function switches loads to battery back-up in under 20 milliseconds, ensuring continuity for critical devices.
Scalability is built in: you can run up to six units in parallel, or configure three-phase or split-phase systems, making it ideal for larger power installations. The VE.Bus communication port also enables remote monitoring, system integration, and configuration with GX devices (like Cerbo GX) via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) app or web portal.
Reliability is assured through its rugged build, the unit’s enclosure is made from aluminium, finished in Victron’s signature blue, and carries an IP21 protection rating. Its protection systems guard against overload, output short circuits, high or low battery voltage, and temperature extremes, giving trades and installers confidence for long-term, high-demand deployments.
Compact yet powerful, the MultiPlus fits neatly into installations with its relatively modest footprint (362 × 258 × 218 mm) and weighs just 18 kg. Coupled with its remote control and system integration capabilities, it’s a versatile backbone for commercial, marine, mobile, or hybrid renewable energy projects.
