The Victron MultiPlus 48/1200/13-16 230V VE.Bus is a compact power solution designed to give dependable AC electricity wherever you need it. Combining a true sine wave inverter with a powerful battery charger, it supports off-grid electrical systems with a continuous output of 1200VA. This makes it a practical choice for campervans, motorhomes, RVs, off-grid cabins, and marine installations that rely on consistent 230V power.
When connected to mains, the MultiPlus powers your appliances directly while charging leisure batteries at up to 13A. As soon as the hook-up or generator is disconnected, it automatically switches to battery power. This changeover takes less than 20 milliseconds, so sensitive devices such as laptops and control panels stay powered without interruption. Acting as an Uninterrupted Power Supply, it provides peace of mind in environments where power reliability matters.
The pure sine wave output replicates household mains electricity. Unlike modified sine wave inverters, it helps protect appliances from noise, overheating, or premature wear. If you are running refrigeration systems, chargers, or entertainment equipment, clean power delivery is important for long term performance.
Although there is no integrated Bluetooth, the MultiPlus works with the VE.Bus smart dongle to provide app-based control via VictronConnect. From there, users can monitor warning alerts, trim voltage settings, and fine tune behaviour for their electrical system. For wider visibility, the unit can be linked to the free VRM app and online portal, offering secure remote access from smartphones, tablets, or computers. This is useful for monitoring off-grid performance when you are away from your installation.
