Active GPS Antenna

The Victron Active GPS Antenna (SKU GSM900200100) is a specialised magnet‑mount antenna designed for use with Victron GX GSM and GX LTE devices. It connects via a 3.0 m RG‑74 cable and terminates in a straight SMA male connector, making it simple to position and install on metal surfaces for a strong, reliable signal.

Operating on the GPS frequency of 1575.42 MHz, this antenna has an impedance of 50 Ω, which ensures stable reception and accurate location-fixing. The magnet‑base allows flexible placement on roofs, van bodies, boats, or other vehicles, while the 3-metre cable provides ample reach to find the best signal spot. The antenna is rugged and built for field conditions, operating over a wide temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C, so it is well suited for marine, off‑grid, mobile or remote solar‑system installations.

By adding this GPS antenna to a GX modem, installers unlock GPS-based tracking features like geofencing in the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal. This improves system monitoring and supports remote diagnostics, particularly for mobile installations or systems requiring location awareness. The antenna’s robust design helps ensure long-term durability, even in demanding environments.
